Suliyari Coal Block
The Suliyari coal block was allotted to APMDC under the Coal Mine (Special Provisions) Act-2015 under State Government Companies of State other than coal bearing host state for sale of coal. Accordingly, an agreement made on 2016 between APMDC and Nominated Authority, Ministry of coal. The Suliyari Coal Mine is situated in the southern part of the Singrauli Coalfield (Main Basin) in the state of Madhya Pradesh. The coal block comprising parts of villages of Aamdand, Amraikoh, Belwar, Dongri, Jheleri, Majholipath and Seerswah of Waidhan Tehsil of Singrauli district, Madhya Pradesh. It is spread over a total of 12.98 Sq Km area.
The distance of Bargwan, the nearest railway station on Chopan-Singrauli-Katni line of central railway is about 25 km from the block. The nearest Airport is Varanasi and is about 250 km from Waidhan. The important industrial township & railway station Renukoot is at a distance of 70 km from Waidhan on Chopan-Garhwa Road section of Eastern Railway. Renukoot township is well connected with Hawrah, Tatanagar, Delhi etc. by direct trains. The production capacity is about 5.0 MTY at an overall stripping ratio of 7.36 cum/ T. Coal production has started from the year 2020, and peak capacity has reached in 2021. The drawn-up capital expenditure for the project is about INR 1800-2,000 Crores (excluding capital required by Mine Developer and Operator), with land and R&R to cost about INR 1150 Crores.

Sales
- As per Allotment Agreement, 25% of the coal produced from the Suliyari coal block is required to supply through e-auction to MSME customers and remaining coal will be open for sale through e-auction to any coal based industries.
- Accordingly, APMDC utilising the services of m-Junction for sale of coal for MSME customers. Based on production auction will be conducted.
